Hello Moose Jaw Camera Club Members. We hope you had a wonderful summer and are as excited as we are for the start of the new season. We look forward to welcoming you back!
1) Our first meeting of the year will be on September 14, 2026. “Popcorn and a Slideshow” We will have a short introduction to the program plans for the season, followed by a slideshow of any images you are excited to share with everyone. You may submit a maximum of TEN images on a USB stick, to be handed in to Program Chair Bill Wanner by 6:45 on the 14th. Throughout the year, we are asking that images you submit are titled with your name first, followed by the title of the image (Photographer Name_Image Title.jpg) Images MUST be in jpeg format.
This is the welcoming meeting of the season and you are encouraged to bring guests with you to see the slideshow and enjoy the popcorn, at no cost! The executive will be supplying popcorn. Bring your own refreshments, or there will be bottles of water available for $1.00 each.

2) CAPA Photo Walk – Saturday, September 19, 2026
The MJCC will again be hosting the CAPA (Canadian Association of Photographic Arts) annual Canadian Photo Walk on this day. All the public is welcome and there is no charge. Participants are invited to take part in the Walk by meeting at the Evolve Coffee Shop at 203 Main Street North at 10:00 a.m. that Saturday. 3) Minuteman Press Calendar Submissions
Just a reminder to submit your seasonal picture entries for the Minuteman Press 2027 calendars. Please send your top 5 seasonal pictures (examples: Christmas, Halloween, Spring, Harvest, Summer, Fall Leaves, etc.) in good quality jpeg by September 9th to Georgina Gadd at email address gaddgeorgina109@gmail.com Minuteman Press will choose the pictures they want; credits will be given to the photographers. Note: You must be registered for the new season of the MJCC by the first meeting of the season on September 14th in order to have your image(s) included in this calendar.
4) PRPA & CAPA Fall Competitions
You will receive information on these competitions at the September meeting.
